Now that would be fun - a human charity show. I wonder what category Parishioner, Ruislip would enter?

Well he certainly wouldn't win the one that the judge would most like to take home!

Anyone reading these posts will understand that Metroland and CWM disagree with my opinion that CGPC wont advertise blood donor sesions in Croxley Green on their website, yet this has been advertised for four months, how's that for a human charity?

Sorry Metroland and CWM, read the post below, I knew some wouldn't get the irony!

Robert Ridley (Parishioner, Ruislip) would win the longest shaggy dog story.

Chas, great comment, why don't you campaign for a parish council in your area, costing £240k, you could be on it as you sound suitable?

It appears that no one working at the rehoming centre has been invited to talk to anyone attending , how different from.

A charity will host a novelty dog show in Bricket Wood this weekend.

The Hertfordshire branch of Hearing Dogs for the Deaf will be looking for the handsomest dog, prettiest ****, waggiest dog and dog with the most appealing eyes, among other categories.

The event will take place at Parish Field, Station Road, from 1.30pm on Sunday, September 12. Registration opens at 11.30am.

There will also be a display from the National Hearing Dog Demo Team, while visitors can also enjoy refreshments, stalls and a raffle.

CGPC could have arranged that winners could have gone to the rehoming centre!

A Dog show sounds a superb idea to me.

My Great Uncle won several rosettes one year and I only hope I can do as well.

If my memory serves me right Huck you would have done very well that year at Crufts if it hadn't been for that unfortunate incident with that pretty little French poodle.Good luck!
