Northwood student chosen to work on international project

A student from Northwood recently returned from Israel after being hand picked to work on a science project with international students.

Danielle Craig, a student at JFS in Harrow, was chosen by the British Technion Society to visit and participate in Sci-Tech, an international science and technology research camp.

Joining seven English students and others from the USA, Serbia, Canada and Israel, Danielle worked on a robot that detects moisture to help farmers save water.

As well as working in the labs, the students stayed in the Israeli university dorms.

Danielle said: “There was a good mix between robotics and having fun and making friends.”

Talking of occupations, ever wondered what to do with all those letters stuffed through your door addressed to "The Occupier"?

Well you don't need to bin them anymore just re-address them to:

Embassy Of Israel
2 Palace Green
LONDON
