A picnic day featuring, among other things, a bee-keeping demonstration will be held in a north Bushey nature reserve this Saturday.
The family day, at Fisher's Field, will also feature flower arranging and leather craft demonstrations as well as bird and bat box making.
Members of the Friends of Fisher's Field will be unveiling a new pond on the day, funded by north Bushey Liberal Democrat councillor Roger Kutchinsky.
Last year the picnic attracted more than 150 visitors and was described by Betty McBean, a member of Friends of the Fisher's Field, as a wonderful community event.
She said: “I hope more people will come along this year and enjoy the afternoon with us. We provide some refreshments and it is nice to see people enjoying this beautiful nature reserve.”
The picnic takes place at the nature reserve, in Fisher's Close, between 12pm and 3pm and entry is free.
