Watford General Hospital trust 'does not provide pornography' to fertility patients


The hospital trust in charge of Watford General Hospital does not offer pornographic material to couples using fertility treatment, it has been confirmed.

A survey by the think tank 2020health.org asked 93 NHS trusts that provide fertility services offer IVF whether it offered patients pornography.

Of the 33 that do, 15 received the material free of charge, as donations from patients or publishers, while 18 spent up to £100 each every year on pornography.

All trusts used magazines while six provided DVDs.

However, a West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust representative said it does not offer fertility patients pornographic material.
