One of the world’s best-selling Christian authors visited a Watford bookshop yesterday, where he met fans and signed copies of his latest best-seller.
Canadian writer William Paul Young was promoting his new novel, The Shack, at Living Oasis, in Queen’s Road.
The book has already sold more than 14 million copies world-wide.
Mr Young, who later travelled to a signing in Chorleywood, said: “It has been great to see so many people here. I really enjoy meeting people that have read my works.”
Senior sales assistant Jane Collier added: “We must have had about 50 people this afternoon, which is great. It’s been a really good boost for the shop. He is the biggest name in Christian publishing so it’s been a miracle to get him here today.”
