Hounslow & District Wheelers’ Jeff Marshall won the Redmon Grand Prix des Gentlemen last Sunday.
The 69-year-old teamed up with Wouter Sybrandy, a second claim Hounslow member, and held on to his team mate’s back wheel for a superb 15.4-mile time of 37 minutes, 40 seconds.
As well as winning the handicap, the Hounslow pair were third fastest of the 45 finishing teams on actual time. The race took place at a course at North Holmwood, Surrey.
