Bushey councillor and Hertsmere Mayor Linda Silver travelled to London to attend a Remembrance parade for Jewish Servicemen and women.
Joined by her consort, Geoffrey Silver, and grand-daughter Gabriella Marcus, Mayor Silver attended this year's annual service, held by the Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women (Ajex).
Mayor Silver and her family watched the proceedings in a special enclosure, at the Cenotaph, in Whitehall, along with other dignitaries, on Sunday, November 22.
She said: "It was a very moving ceremony which meant a lot to me.”
