A three-day public inquiry will be held next month into plans for a temporary wedding marquee at a Hindu temple in Aldenham.
Temple officials were told to obtain planning permission for the marquee last year, but the plans were rejected by the Bushey and Aldenham planning committee in June.
Residents previously complained about noise levels coming from the marquee, put up every summer since 2002 at Bhaktivedanta Manor, in Hilfield Lane.
The public inquiry will start on Tuesday, February 15, at Hertsmere Borough Council’s Civic Offices, in Elstree Way, Borehamwood.
