A Bushey branch of the British Red Cross has been handed a grant of £556 from a local councillor.
The group, which meets at the Bushey and Oxhey Methodist Church hall, in London Road, will use the money to buy new laptop to use as a training aid.
Councillor Roger Kutchinsky (Bushey north, Liberal Democrat) pledged the cash from his share of Hertsmere Borough Council's ward improvement initiative (WIIS) scheme.
