Performers from a dance club are to take to the floor on Saturday, as they compete in regional heats for the British Red Cross’ Dance for Life competition.
The aspiring dancers, from Georgie’s School of Dance and Drama, are all aged under 18 and come from Bovingdon and surrounding villages.
Dance for Life brings together primary, secondary and special schools, colleges, dance groups and youth groups in a celebration of youth dance.
Groups of all abilities are invited to choreograph a dance routine that reflects an aspect of the Red Cross’ work. They then come together to perform at Dance for Life events across the country.
All clubs are asked to raise at least £50 before the event.
