Chocolate and coffee were among the items on offer as shoppers indulged themselves during Fairtrade Fortnight in Watford.

Councillor Jackie Connal, who represents Holywell at Watford Borough Council, is a founding member of the Watford Fairtrade Steering Committee.

And she was among the visitors to the Harlequin Centre where volunteers promoted Fairtrade goods during a four-day event, which ended on Monday this week.

To mark the end of a fortnight of events, Fairtrade supporters can take part in The Big Brew, at St Andrews Church, Church Road, Watford from 3pm to 4.30pm on Saturday.
