The Harlequin Wedding List

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1 To establish a Wedding List under the service offered by The Harlequin Shopping Centre, all necessary paperwork must be completed by either party in the presence of a Wedding List Coordinator as signatures of either the bride or groom are required with proof of identification (e.g. passport or driving licence) to set up an account. Please note: the balance on the account can only be released to the party or parties who provided identification at the time of registration.

2 Once a list has been established, The Harlequin will contact the couple at the given address quoting their reference number. Guests wishing to make a credit to an account on their behalf should then use this reference number in all correspondence.

3 The Harlequin will provide a regular update of the balance on your account. This information will be made available to the bride and groom only.

4 Guests can make a purchase by cash or cheque, with a valid banker’s card. Payment can be made in person, by post or by telephone up to 7 days after the wedding date. Cheques should be made payable to Capital Shopping Centres plc. Purchases can be made in person or by telephone with Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo or Electron.

5 All guests purchasing for the account by post or telephone will receive confirmation and receipt of their purchase.

6 Seven days after the wedding date, the wedding account will be closed and a full, final and complete list of all purchases and purchasers will be made available to the bride and groom only.

7 In accordance with term 1, all cards must be collected by the bride or groom by appointment at least 21 days after their wedding day. A signature will be required along with proof of identification in order to collect the Gift Card.

8 The Harlequin Centre Management kindly requests that a minimum of 24 hours notice be given of a required collection date to allow all relevant paperwork to be completed.

9 Collection will be by appointment only. We kindly request that collection take place at least 1 hour after the Centre opens and at least 1 hour before the Centre closes. Please note: collections will take place at the Customer Information Desk on the Upper Mall of The Harlequin.

10 In the event of a wedding being cancelled, both parties must sign for any funds accrued to date. No funds will be issued without consent. The Harlequin Management does not accept any responsibility for returning funds to customers who have credited to the account.

11 No funds will be issued until 21 days after the wedding date, unless in accordance with condition 10.

12 The wedding account will close 7 days after the wedding date, unless term 10 applies.

13 Funds will not be released until 21 days after the wedding to allow for banking clearance.

14 The Harlequin Gift Cards are valid for 1 year from the date of issue. After 12 months an administration fee of £10 applies. The Harlequin Gift Cards can be credited with up to £1000, so multiple cards will be issued if the amount exceeds £1000.

15 A full list of participating retailers is available from The Harlequin’s Customer Information Desk. This is subject to change and The Harlequin Management reserves the right to update and amend this list as necessary.

16 Gift Cards cannot be redeemed in any bank, building society or the Post Office and cannot be exchanged as payment for household bills, car tax, Bureau de Change etc.

17 Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash and no cash alternative will be given. Individual terms and conditions of The Harlequin Gift Cards also apply.

18 The Harlequin Centre Management accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or mis-use of Gift Cards after collection by the parties concerned. However, if a Gift Card is lost or stolen it can be cancelled and re-issued – see Gift Card terms and conditions for more information.
