Fitness fanatics raised more than £1,500 for charity by taking on two hours of non-stop aerobics.

More than 65 men and women bopped their way through an 80s themed workout, took part in a boxercise, danced through a Zumba class, and finished with some Grease themed aerobics.

The sponsored 'aerobathon', held at Shenley Park Chapel, raised money for The Peace Hospice and Cancer Research UK.

All of the participants are part of the Rosemary Conley, Bushey, Radlett and Borehamwood diet and fitness club.

Susannah Wyeth, who runs the club, said: "We were thrilled with the fantastic turn out and the great support. The day was a huge success, everyone looked fantastic in their sparkle themed outfits.

“We’re still waiting on some more sponsorship money to come in but with entry fees and raffle tickets, we’ve already raised a great amount, and I know The Peace Hospice and Cancer Research UK will be able to do fantastic things with it.”
