Former Hornet Lee Williamson’s appeal against his red card in Saturday’s 3-0 defeat to Watford has been rejected by the FA.
The Sheffield United midfielder was sent off in the first half for a challenge with Lloyd Doyley and because it was his second red card of the season, now faces a four-match ban.
Manager Micky Adams told the Sheffield Star: "Lee is going to miss four games. The red card was not overturned but at least they (the FA) did not add an extra match."
