A community fun day is to be held in Watford to help raise cash for Luna Petagine.
Residents and visitors are invited to Oxhey Early Years Centre, to show their support for the four-year-old.
Luna, of Oxhey Hall, has an ependymoma brain tumour, and will die unless she receives pioneering treatment.
The life-saving procedure, which is only available at The Burzynski Clinic in Houston, Texas, America, costs £20,000 for preliminary tests, and is a further £50,000 for additional care.
Thanks to donations and fundraisers, so far her family has raised more than £35, 000.
But at Luna’s Community Fun Day on Sunday, July 17, they hope to raise even more.
BBC DIY SOS’s Julia Kendell will be making an appearance, and visitors can expect more than 30 stalls on the day with a variety of goods on offer including cakes and arts and crafts.
There will also be a lucky dip, bouncy castle, tombola, and raffle, with an iPad 2, week break in Somerset and DSi XL up-for-grabs.
The event will be held from 11am to 3pm, at Oxhey Early Years Centre, Eastbury Road, Watford.
