Crowds of people flocked to Kings Langley Secondary School, as students held their first Arts Exhibition.

More than 400 pupils, parents and villagers turned out in force to see 2D and 3D art, design, photography, graphical arts and music produced by students using a range of different media.

Annie Hearne, head of arts at the school, said she organised the exhibition on July 13 to celebrate the work of Kings Langley School pupils.

Ms Hearne said: “I am very proud that we were able to celebrate the work of the students here on such a grand scale.

“Next year we aim to have the exhibition on display for longer so that even more people can see the exceptional work produced.

“We have a huge range of innovative teaching on offer in the arts at Kings Langley School and we wanted to show off the diverse opportunities students have here.”

Primary school students from Tanners Wood, Kings Langley Primary, Abbots Langley and St Paul’s Chipperfield, all of whom who had taken part in sessions led by Kings Langley School staff, also had their works exhibited.
