Remembrance Sunday will be marked in Abbots Langley with a winter acoustic concert.
Visitors are invited to Abbots Langley Community Centre on Sunday, November 13, where performers Dave Webber, Anni Fentiman and Brian Peters will be presenting their show “On the Road to Mandalay”.
The piece depicts a journey through life of the Victorian soldier, as illustrated by Rudyard Kipling’s “Barrack Room Ballads”, set to music by the late Peter Bellamy.
The event will be held at the community centre in Gallows Hill Lane, Abbots Langley.
Doors open at 2.30pm, tea, coffee and cakes will be available in the interval.
Tickets cost £8 and raffle proceeds will go to South West Herts Narrowboat Project, Dick’s Folly.
