Residents in South Croydon angry about the installation of a mobile phone mast on the roof of their sports club are organising a protest for this Sunday.

It is believed work on the Vodafone mast will begin in October at the South Croydon Sports Club in Beech Copse, but residents say they have not been properly consulted.

A 300-signature petition, as well as a website detailing the campaign against the mast, has been set up by residents.
