The Citizens Advice Bureau's debt advice service in Three Rivers has been given a £10,000 grant from Thrive Homes.
This is the third year running that the housing association has given money to the CAB.
The debt advice service offers advice to people with multiple debts or rent arrears, and people facing court action or repossession.
Marion Seneschall, CAB district manager, said: “This will allow us to work with clients on all aspects of debt advice and, as so often is the case, with underlying related issues.
"Without this grant we would not be able to continue our current level of service.”
