Comedy writer and television personality James Corden delighted fans at a book signing in a Watford supermarket this afternoon.
The Gavin and Stacey star appeared at Tesco Extra to promote his new autobiography.
Hundreds of fans queued for up to an hour and a half to meet this year’s Brit Awards presenter.
Sophie Mendham, 17, from Watford, said: “He was lovely, really polite. I asked him to give me a hug and he did – it was really exciting.”
Corden, who presents Sky One’s sports quiz show A League of Their Own, chatted with fans of all ages and signed copies of his latest book between 12.30pm and 2pm.
Monica Boldison, from Watford, said: “He was really nice, I watch Gavin and Stacey and think he’s really good.”
