A lunch club for older people in Sarratt has been given a financial boost in the form of a council grant.
Sarratt Care has been awarded £500 from Hertfordshire County Council to continue providing its lunch meeting and other services.
The organisation runs a monthly lunch club and also transport for the older people, when needed, to the club and for hospital visits.
It also holds twice-monthly coffee mornings in the village hall, with chiropody, hairdressing and shoulder massage.
