Children across Abbots Langley are invited to try a new form of worship - Messy Church.
Organised by volunteers from St Lawrence parish church and Abbots Langley Methodist church, the aim of the event is to entice children, parents and carers to have fun, be creative and enjoy a meal together.
Open to children aged between five and 11, Messy Church will be held on Wednesday, February 8, at Abbots Langley Methodist Church hall, Langley Road, Abbots Langley.
Welcome drinks, biscuits and table top games are followed by craft activities with a biblical theme, worship time and a simple celebration meal (vegetarian option available).
The fun takes place from 3pm to 6pm. There are no charges for sessions, but the church does ask for a donation to help cover cost of materials and the meal.
Would-be participants are asked to book a place via the parish office on 01923 261 795 or via email at stlawrence@fish.co.uk.
