A new Watford-based business convention will be held next month in bid to kick-start economic growth in the town.
Watford Borough Council will be hosting the “Growing for Growth” event in conjunction with the Watford Chamber of Commerce and West Herts College in Gade House, The Parade on March 6.
The event is aimed at giving the advice to local businesses and entrepreneurs about how to expand their businesses.
Elected Mayor of Watford, Dorothy Thornhill, said: “With so many companies battling just to stand still, the idea of growing a business in the current climate may sound like a bold idea.
“But it can be done – and is being achieved by businesses in many sectors. Watford’s town motto means ‘to be bold’ and I know from visiting many local businesses, they are up for it.”
Representatives from firms such as Baker Tilly, HSBC, Matthew Arnold & Baldwin, RSM Tennon, Alliotts and SA Law, will be on hand to provide help and answers and advice.
