Snow disrupts some Dacorum council services

Snow conditions will disrupt some services provided by Dacorum Borough Council today.

Refuse and recycling crews are out and the council is assuring residents that staff will be emptying as many green-wheeled and recycling boxes as possible.

Anyone whose rubbish is not collected is asked to leave out their refuse for collection throughout the week.

Pest control, drainage, cesspool and dog warden services are attempting to continue as normal, but where access is difficult residents will be informed.

With regard to clinical waste, collections are being attempted, but any pre-arranged visits will be notified if the officer cannot attend. All other environmental health services are currently operating as normal.

Emergency housing repairs partner MITIE is reporting delays, but working normally as much as possible.
