A driver was punched and robbed while sitting in his car outside a parade of shops in north Watford.
Police said the attack happened after the 33-year-old had been driving along Longspring near the junction with St Albans Road at around 7pm on Wednesday, February 15.
He stopped his car, a bright yellow Citroen Saxo, opposite the shops and was approached by the assailant who punched him to the face. The driver’s wallet was then taken by his attacker who then ran away.
Police investigating the attack are appealing for information from the public Anyone with information is asked to contact assistant investigator Elaine Counsell on 01923 472939 quoting crime reference number C4/12/349.

A 36-year-old man from Watford has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently on police bail.
