Photos of people digging, planting and raking Watford’s parks and green areas have gone on exhibition at The Harlequin shopping centre.
The pictures, taken by photography students in Watford, were unveiled in the centre’s gallery area yesterday evening and were taken of volunteers taking part in the Green Gym project.
The scheme, which is part-funded by the shopping centre and Watford Borough Council, aims to spruce up the town’s natural spaces.
Erin Walsh, marketing manager at The Harlequin, said: "Both the students and members of the Green Gym have laboured tirelessly to create a lasting imprint on the community."
