Road works in Oxhey Lane look set to carry on into rush hour.
Technicians from Veolia Water have been working on a burst water main near Oxhey Lane Farm since Wednesday and temporary lights are in place.
The company hoped to have the work completed by this morning.
However it has overran and they now hope it will be completed by 7pm today.
