Armed police were called to South Oxhey yesterday, after being given reports about a man with a knife and a gun.
Officers were called to the Highlands at 1pm, after neighbours claimed to have seen a man brandishing the weapons.
He then ran off, but stopped when he was threatened by officers with Tasers. He was arrested for affray.
He was released without charge later that evening.
