St Thomas’ Church, West Hyde, to hold flower festival
4:32pm Tuesday 3rd July 2012 in News
St Thomas’ Church in West Hyde is holding a flower festival this weekend.
The event takes place from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday and 2pm to 4pm on Monday. The theme this year is The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Barbara Smith, from the church, said: "I am sure the beautiful displays will be worth a visit also this part of Hertfordshire.
"The church itself is grade 2 listed building and the flint work of the church is unique. All proceeds are for the repair of the East wall which is well weathered."
Entrance to the Old Uxbridge Road church is free and there will be refreshments, plus a cake stall and raffle.
