Cassiobury Park, Woodside Playing Fields and Cheslyn House and Gardens awarded Green Flags status
Parks in Watford have stood out from the crowd after being recognised for their outstanding conservation for the fourth year running.
Green Flag awards are the national standard for quality parks and ensure facilities are well managed offering the best green space for members of the public.
It is the fourth year that Woodside and Cheslyn have been awarded their flags and the sixth year for Cassiobury Park , which won its first award back in 2007.
Dorothy Thornhill, Elected Mayor of Watford said: "Yet again we have proven that our parks and open spaces in Watford are of an award winning standard. "Parks and green spaces have a huge impact on residents and visitors to the town, providing places to play and relax.
"Our Green Flag awards provide national recognition for our achievements and highlight the hard work of our parks staff who maintain and improve the facilities. "Without their dedication and enthusiasm we could not have been successful."
