Two people have had money taken from their accounts after their bank cards became stuck in Rickmansworth cash points.
The incidents took place on July 12 at 9.35pm, when a man's card was not returned from the cash point, and money was later taken from his account.
Then, on July 13 at 11.30pm a man’s card was retained in the machine, and on two occasions money was taken from his bank.
Earlier this month, on July 7 at 5.50pm, a man’s card got stuck in a machine, but he was able to remove it and no money was taken.
Detective constable Caroline Bright said: "I would like take this opportunity to remind people to check cash points when they go to use them to ensure no devices have been fitted to them and also to cover the key pad when they put in their PIN."
