Visitors to Chipperfield this weekend may have caught a glimpse of a tradition dating back more than 50 years with the annual visit of the Greensleeves Morris Men.
The group, based in Wimbledon, south west London, has been coming to the village and dancing for the public since 1961 – when one of the group’s members lived in the village.
Chris Benson, 61, squire of Greensleeves, said: "It was good, we had a great time.
"We always really enjoy coming to the village and it feels like a second home to us so hopefully people enjoy having us every year.
"We always try to bring three to five touring teams with us."
