Kings Langley School pupils are celebrating victory in a national dance and drama competition last night.
Pupils collected the first place award in the UK Rock Challenge after wowing the crowds at the final, held in Milton Keynes.
Kings Langley’s winning production was themed "Swift as a shadow, short as any dream" and beat off hundreds of other schools to take first place.
The prize was presented to the students by Hemel Hempstead MP Mike Penning , he said: ""I have been following local schools at the UK Rock Challenge for several years and it was fantastic to see Kings Langley win overall first place at the national final.
"It was a well-deserved win and the noise and excitement is something they will remember for a long time."
