Woman injured in Bovingdon horse fall

A woman sustained a head injury after she was thrown from a horse into a wall in Bovingdon on Friday morning.
Paramedics were called to Church Street at 08.01am and the woman, who is understood to be in her 50s, was taken to Watford General Hospital.
The Hertfordshire Air Ambulance also attended but the patient was transported by road.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The woman who we believe to be in her 50s sustained a head injury and following treatment and stabilisation at the scene, she was taken by land to Watford General Hospital for further care.”
