Bovingdon and District Horticultural Society’s autumn show to be held next week

The finest seasonal plants and vegetables that Bovingdon has to offer will be showcased at the annual autumn show next Saturday (September 8).
Bovingdon and District Horticultural Society’s autumn show includes vegetables, dahlias, chrysanthemums, fuchsias and floral art, as well as cooking and children’s classes.
Judges will examine the offerings before the exhibition opens to the public at 2.30pm in Memorial Hall, High Street.
Prizes will be presented after 4.00pm and will include winners from the show and the recent village hanging basket competition between the local shopkeepers.
