Volunteers needed to clean up St Paul’s churchyard, Chipperfield

Residents are being asked to lend a hand help clean up a Chipperfield churchyard.

Organisers want as many volunteers as possible to help dig out brambles and random saplings, cut back hedges, dig out nettles and remove ivy from St Paul’s churchyard near The Common.

The work will be carried out over two Saturday mornings in September and villagers are asked to bring their own gardening gloves and equipment.

Anybody who is available on Saturday September 15 and Saturday September 22 between 9.30am and 12.30pm should contact John Stickland on john.stickland@btinternet.com.
