Bushey and Rickmansworth residents who have not exercised for over three years can apply for three months free gym membership.

The free passes are being given out by Hertsmere Leisure, which is conducting research into how exercise affects lifestyle.

During the three months, participants must promise to exercise three times a week for at least 30 minutes and have their progress levels measured.

Anyone over the age of 18 who lives in the aforementioned areas can apply.

Clubs participating in the scheme include Bushey Grove Leisure Centre, Bushey Country Club, and William Penn Leisure Centre in Rickmansworth.
