Television viewers got their first chance to see some of Kings Langley’s most familiar landmarks from the backdrop of a new ITV drama last night.

Martin Clunes and Hermione Norris both visited the village in May while the two-part drama ‘A Mother’s Son’ was being shot in the high street and inside a number of businesses.

The first instalment was shown on Monday night with the second to follow tonight (September 4).

The show is set around the murder of a teenage schoolgirl in the Suffolk countryside and also stars Paul McGann of Luther and Alexander Arnold of Skins.
