'Essex' girl Debbie attends animal welfare trust open day

Debbie Bright from TV show The Only Way is Essex crossed the border to Hertfordshire to show her support for an animal welfare event in Watford.

Ms Bright made an appearance at the National Animal Welfare Trust’s open day in Tyler’s Way on Sunday, accompanied by her own furry friends - her rescued dogs Dolly and Bertie.

She said: "It’s absolutely packed here today. There are lots of people around looking at dogs and all of these days make people more aware of how many dogs actually need re-homing".
