Prime Minister David Cameron spotted at Watford Junction
Commuters at Watford Junction were joined by a surprise traveller this morning, Prime Minister David Cameron.
Mr Cameron was seen struggling to find a safe seat as he perched on a rail at the station platform earlier today.
It comes after he visited a building site in Cheshunt to announce a new package of measures to promote economic growth with the Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg.
A Downing Street spokesman said: "The Prime Minister often travels by public transport - this is not usual."
Mr Cameron was also seen at Burston Garden Centre in St Albans this morning, where he had a coffee.

Regardless of what we think of him and bearing in mind the issue of security in this country i think its great that our prime minister feels able to use public transport

Was he looking for some sick, disabled or unemployed people to bully?

What next, I wonder? Madonna feeding the ducks in the pond by the Town Hall? Michelle Obama buying underwear in John Lewis's? Osama Bin Laden (he didn't die, you know) getting a burger in McDonalds?
Is this part of Hertfordshire becoming the new venue for celebrity spotting?
