Prunella Scales returns to Guideposts Trust to celebrate its 20th birthday

A Watford charity which runs training courses for people with mental illness celebrated its 20th anniversary with an appearance from actor Prunella Scales.

Ms Scales, perhaps best known as Sybil Fawlty in the classic comedy Fawlty Towers, returned to Guideposts Trust in Estcourt Road on Friday.

The last time she visited Henry Smith House was 20 years ago, when she opened the centre in September 1992.

She joined the celebration of 20 years of delivering community mental health services. As well as former staff, the present team, volunteers and clients came together to eat cake, sing, dance, and see presentations from the charity's various courses.
