3:30pm Monday 10th September 2012 in News By Amie Mulderrig, Features Writer
Radlett residents will be able to find out the value of their prized possessions, when television antiques expert Jonty Hearnden visits the village.
Having appeared on BBC show Antiques Roadshow and Cash in the Attic, Mr Hearnden will give a special presentation "What’s in Your Attic?" at the Radlett Centre on October 4.
He will share behind-the-scenes secrets and stories, and take any questions from the audience.
Visitors will learn what items are most sought after, discover what things are really worth and find out where to buy and when to sell.
Mr Hearnden said: "I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and am particularly interested in local antiques. I’ll be delighted if someone can surprise me with something that I’ve not seen before."
Ticket holders are invited to bring one small portable item for possible inclusion in the show.
Tickets are available from the box office on 01923 859291 and cost: £18 and £16 for concessions.
