Mayor of Hertsmere Pat Strack urges people to Go Red in aid of The Herts Air Ambulance
11:56am Tuesday 11th September 2012 in News By Amie Mulderrig, Features Writer
People of all ages will be sporting their favourite red outfits this month to raise cash for the Mayor of Hertsmere's charity.
The Herts Air Ambulance was chosen by Councillor Pat Strack, Conservative representative, as her charity of the year, and Go Red week will see hundreds of fundraising events across the borough.
Schoolchildren, businesses and councillors will be encouraged to wear red, and can also take part in a football tournament.
An air ambulance helicopter will be landing at Hertswood School, in Cowley Hill, on Friday, September 28. Go Red Week runs from September 22 to 30. To register your school or business, phone Dawn Easby, on 07917 123 2029.
