By Mike Wright, Chief Reporter
A community hall in Carpenders Park has been able to repair its toilet after winning a council cash grant.
Carpenders Park Community Hall, in Gibbs Couch, was handed £240 from Hertfordshire County Council to replace the faulty flush system in the ladies toilets.
The money has come from the council’s locality grant scheme.

I think I picked my flush mechanism up for about £6 and fitted it myself in under an hour.
Oh well, it's only council money and therefore value for money doesn't come into it.
How do I get a job as a plumber on £234 an hour?
