AN internationally renowned artist has donated his work to two art events at St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood.
Installation artist David Tremlett, whose work is currently on display at Tate Britain in London, has donated a limited edition print to be auctioned at a fundraising Art Auction & Dinner on Saturday, October 13, from 7pm in the Barbirolli Hall at the school.
The auction will feature paintings, prints and sculptures by parents and students connected to the school.
The evening will raise funds towards the school’s Perform 150 Appeal to refurbish and extend the school hall.
Tickets cost £35 per person and the cost includes a glass of bubbly, three course dinner, coffee and petits fours. All art work featured in the auction will be on display at an Art Show in the school’s drama hall from noon to 4pm on Saturday, October 6. Entry to the show is free.
