Unemployed Hertsmere residents encouraged to attend recruitment fair
1:30pm Saturday 15th September 2012 in News By Anna Slater
Employers will be encouraging jobless Hertsmere residents to get into work at a recruitment fair on Monday.
Supermarkets, banks and the Army will be just some of the companies dishing out advice about how to get back into work.
People can also take part in a CV workshop, where they will be given advice on how to make themselves stand out to prospective employers.
At midday, supermarket firm Tesco will be giving advice on their work placement programme for 18 to 24-year-olds.
The event, to be held at Hertsmere Borough Offices in Elstree Way, will also be attended by Mayor of Hertsmere, Councillor Pat Strack.
It will be held at Hertsmere Borough Offices, in Elstree Way, from 10am to 4pm.

Is that the one where you work for nothing for 6 months then don't get a job?
But you can put it on your CV, of course.
"I worked for nothing for a firm that doesn't even pay it's tax bill and but for it's aggressive property development and willingness to crush any competition I'd probably have a job anyway"?
Sounds fair.
