Man charged after High Street cordoned off

A man has been charged following an incident in Watford town centre that led to the High Street being cordoned off by police.

Christopher Milbourne has been charged with common assault, shoplifting and using threatening behaviour following his arrest in Boots on Thursday evening.

The 27-year-old, from Javelin Court, in Stanmore, is due to appear in court on September 25.
