Guided walk with bat expert around Leavesden Country Park

A guided walk to help teach people more about one of nature’s most misunderstood mammals will take place in Leavesden Country Park on Wednesday (September 19).

Renowned bat expert Roger Havard will lead the bat walk around the park, meeting at the YMCA at 6.30pm and finishing at 8.00pm.

Roger will provide an introductory talk before demonstrating how to use a bat detector to discover what species are present.
