Adults and children wanting a brisk cycle should head to Chipperfield this weekend for the latest free Sky Ride.
The 16-mile led ride along the ‘Leafy Lanes’ route will leave from The Common on Sunday (September 23) at 2pm and head for Whippendell Wood and the edge of Croxley Green.
It then passes through the villages of Sarratt, Belsize and Bovingdon Green before returning to Chipperfield Common.
Riders who take part also have the chance to win a £500, £350 or £250 voucher that can be redeemed against bikes in the Giant Radlett store.
The free rides are being organised through a combination of Dacorum Borough Council, British Cycling and Sky.
A council spokesman said: "The rides are a great way to explore the local countryside, and as well as the prize draw, there's an incentive scheme for children to get involved, with gifts including frisbees, stickers, and frog-shaped bike lights posted out to those who go on one or more ride."
