Royal Masonic School performs on The One Show

Ten pupils from Royal Masonic School for Girls appeared on BBC's The One Show.

The girls performed a section of “drill”, which is a long-standing tradition at the school.

The display involves a twenty minute routine of callisthenics and marching to music with no spoken instructions.

The tradition originated in 1876 and was common in schools, but Royal Masonic is the only school in the country to maintain this proud tradition.
